Born in Allgäu, Reicheneder already gained professional experience during his training as a restaurant specialist at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich. Reicheneder, now 42, then spent almost two years at the then Four Seasons Hotel - The Pierre in New York as a front office agent and moved back to the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich in 2004, where he worked for three years as Group and Event Coordinator. From 2004 to 2014, he held various positions in sales at the same hotel: two years as Sales Manager, three years as Senior Sales Manager, responsible for national and international key accounts, and another three years as Assistant Director of Sales. In 2014, Matthias Reicheneder moved to the Mandarin Oriental, Munich, where he took on the position of Director of Sales. Here he was responsible for the markets of Europe, UK, Central and South America, India, in the segments Leisure, Entertainment, Corporate, Mice (High End Fashion Brands).
After seven years with the international hotel brand, the enthusiastic mountaineer and skier is moving to flospitality and is already looking forward to the new challenge as Director of Sales.
