Growing up in a bilingual household, Laura always knew that travel would be a major part of her life. Born in Copenhagen but educated in the UK, the more serious travel started when she was 18 years old and moved to northern Peru to live and work in an orphanage for 12 months. On her return she gained a bachelor’s degree in languages which led her to live in Madrid and Berlin for 7 months a piece. During this time Laura uncovered her love for the hospitality industry through various internships which saw her move to Switzerland to study International Hospitality Management at the École hôtelière de Lausanne graduating with the ‘Best Business Project’ of the year.
Having spent the last 7 years working at the leading UK Hotel Sales Representation company, GP Associates - Laura has learnt from the best in the industry and had the honour of working with some of the most iconic hotels in the world. Laura is extremely well connected and respected within the luxury leisure market in the UK. A keen skier and lover of mountains, Laura can often be found spending her winters and summer exploring the magnificent resorts in Europe.
2021 is the founding year of flospitality UK headed up in London by Laura and former colleague Kelly Featherstone.
